Veggie burgers get a bad wrap. The best ones are ones you make at home. They aren't full of fillers and stuff you don't really need. Black beans just make a burger. Just really good flavor. The mushrooms add a little "meatiness" texture along with some vitamin D. The maple syrup and soy sauce add a very unique flavor to this veggie burger. Make them ahead and refrigerate. Make extra and freeze to have on hand for later.
