WUSTHOF ZEST Paring Knife Set Review

The WÜSTHOF ZEST Paring Knife Set includes three dishwasher safe paring knives made of high-carbon stain-free steel. In this set, you receive a 4" Serrated Paring Knife, a 3" Spear Point Paring Knife and a 2 1/4" Bird's Beak Peeling Knife. WÜSTHOF is synonymous with quality design, so you can expect maximum control for peeling, mincing, dicing and fruits and vegetables.

You can really tell that these are some high-quality knives. The synthetic handles have a superb ergonomic design that makes for a comfortable, yet secure, grip. This made for smooth and precise handling when I tried peeling an apple. I especially liked the Bird’s Beak Peeling Knife for this purpose. The curved edge makes it really easy to peel fruit and vegetables.

These knives are very sharp. They have a laser tested edge for uniform cutting and a long-lasting sharp edge. The blades sliced through all of my vegetables very easily. I used the Spear Point Paring Knife to smoothly slice through a potato and was able to do so with no problems. It made prepping my homemade French fries a total breeze! The cuts were very smooth and even with this knife. I found myself reaching for the serrated paring knife quite a bit. The serrated edge was just what I needed to cut up my strawberries for my morning oatmeal. It also came in very handy around lunch time when it was time to slice up my freshly baked gluten-free bread.

The WÜSTHOF ZEST Paring Knife Set has quickly become my new kitchen go-to. I love the ergonomic design of the handles and the sharp edge of the blades. As an added bonus, the handles come in a fun variety of eye-catching colors which adds a pop of color and fun to my kitchen prep!
