Blends by Orly Challah Mixes Review

Blends by Orly Challah MixesBlends by Orly Challah Mixes Review
Gifted By: Blends by Orly
Reviewed by Arielle Matlin, Editor,

Tasty bread options for those eating only gluten free foods can be few and far between. The Blends by Orly Challah Mixes make some of the best gluten free bread I have tasted. The mixes come in three varieties: Traditional, Chocolate Chip, and Poppyseed & Onion.

I was shocked by how easy these mixes were to make. All you need to add is yeast, eggs, water, and oil. It all comes together in just a few minutes and you only need to let the dough rise once.

You have the option of making challah loaves or challah rolls. I found it easiest to make rolls, but with a little extra gluten free flour, the loaves are easy to assemble, too. The mix makes either two large loaves or 10 rolls so there will be plenty for the whole family and then some.

The flavors and texture of each challah mix is spot on with the traditional loaves you get at the store. I would never have known the bread was completely gluten free. The chocolate chip variety was the biggest hit, but all three mixes were tasty. You could easily add different mix-ins to make the bread even more delicious. With easy baking mixes like these, you can enjoy gluten free bread all the time.

I really liked how unique these were. The dough isn't too sweet, but it gets a touch of sweetness from the chocolate chips. The texture itself was great and made for a nice treat at the end of the day.

I didn't even know these were gluten free! I love the chocolate chips, and it was a good snack.

These were great for a sweet but not too sweet snack! I'd recommend having it with a glass or milk for that milk and cookies taste :)

Loved these! I find a lot of gluten-free products to be dry and crumbly, but these had a great texture. I'd definitely make them again.

These were really yummy! I tried one fresh out of the oven, and the texture was great. Could have used more chocolate chips, though.
