Lindsay Garza, the blogger behind Veggie Balance, knows how to cook nutritious and delicious gluten free food. Her brand new cookbook, Gluten-Free Party Food has over 25 amazing recipes that anyone can make. From dips to bite-sized appetizers, this cookbook is loaded with tasty recipes for your next party.
The cookbook starts with an introduction about the author and her gluten free experience. She shares some of her food philosophies which I found insightful. The introduction is followed by a list of important ingredients used in gluten free cooking.
The recipes are split into four categories: Let's Have a Party (appetizers), Bar Munchies, Dipping, Dunking, Scoop Worthy Dips, and Dollop Worthy Condiments. Each of the chapters features 4-9 recipes that will have your mouth watering.
I love that all the recipes have large and colorful photos that accompany them. In addition, each recipe has a symbol to determine if it is gluten free, dairy free, paleo, low calorie, vegetarian, and/or vegan. She also includes nutrition information which I found so helpful.
My favorite recipe in the cookbook had to be the recipe for Loaded Potato Nachos (pg. 24). It is simple, but so delicious and no one will even think of it as a gluten free recipe, just a tasty recipe! Some of my other favorites included Cheesy Garlic Bread (pg. 56), Spinach Artichoke Dip (pg. 66), and Healthy Ketchup (pg.74).
These easy gluten free recipes make planning your next party so much easier. Even if you don't have a party coming up, these recipes make for delicious snacks and even dinner items.
