"A classic Filipino recipe now made gluten-free, paleo, top-8 allergy-free, and in the crockpot! This healthy Slow Cooker Chicken Adobo is perfectly tender and tangy with its combination of vinegar and coconut aminos in place of the typical soy sauce! The acidic vinegar with the salty, tangy soy sauce makes the chicken super tender once cooked (traditionally braised). Throw it in the slow cooker and it just enhances all that magic even more! Since soy is a big NO here on Strength and Sunshine, what's the soy alternative? Coconut aminos, of course! I wasn't sure what to expect flavor wise when I actually tried it, but it was rather delicious! It's a hard to describe combination but it works so well!"
