Grab a fork because you'll want to dig into this Family-Favorite Gluten Free Taco Pie. You and your family won't be able to get enough of this gluten free dinner because it tastes absolutely amazing. Made with ground turkey, healthy veggies, gooey cheese, and gluten free Bisquick, this taco pie is unlike any other recipe you've ever tried before.
The best news about this recipe is that you can top it however you'd like. You can add a bit lettuce and diced avocado while your husband adds a dollop of sour cream and salsa. No matter which combination you decide on, we promise that this taco pie will be delicious.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 ounce package gluten free taco seasoning mix
  • 4 1/2 ounces can gluten free chopped green chiles, drained
  • 1/2 cup frozen corn, defrosted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup gluten free Bisquick
  • 1/4 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3/4 cup chopped tomato
  • 1 1/2 cup lettuce, shredded
  • salsa
  • gluten free sour cream
  • avocado, sliced or diced


To Make the Taco Pie

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F and grease a 9-inch glass pie plate.

  2. In a large skillet, cook the turkey and the onion until the turkey is browned. Stir in seasoning mix and add the corn. Then spoon the mixture into the prepared pie plate and top with the chiles. 

  3. Mix the eggs, milk, and gluten free Bisquick until blended. Then pour the mixture into the pie plate. 

  4. Bake for 25 minutes. Then top with cheese and tomatoes and bake 3 minutes until the cheese is melted.

  5. Let set for 5 minutes, then serve with garnishes.

I really liked the flavor of this casserole. I will definitely be making this at home!

I would add in a bit more spice, but I thought it was pretty good!

The best thing about this casserole is that you can serve it with all of your favorite fixings! I put tons of diced avocado on mine.

This hit the spot. I could eat it all week long!

I thought this was a tasty dish. I would have never known it was gluten free!
